The DC4 supersedes ARG’s DC3 with a major leap in compute and connectivity. Built on NVIDIA Jetson Orin, it runs a full Linux stack capable of edge AI inference, sensor fusion, and protocol bridging — while simultaneously managing cellular, WiFi, BLE, Modbus TCP/IP, and G3-PLC devices. A single PoE cable handles power and Ethernet. A 5″ capacitive touchscreen provides local status and configuration.
The DC4 integrates ARG’s proven Cell Modem and WiFi Modem building blocks, and ships pre-configured with the ARG MQTT Cloud Platform and OTA firmware update system — so cloud connectivity and remote updates are ready from day one.

NVIDIA Jetson Orin
Full Linux edge compute with AI/ML inference capability, ROS2 support, and containerised application stack. OTA-managed via ARG’s update platform.
Cellular LTE-M / NB-IoT
ARG nRF9160 Cell Modem with Hologram Global SIM. Pre-integrated with ARG MQTT Cloud Platform and OTA — cellular connectivity ready out of the box.
WiFi + BLE
ARG dual-band WiFi Modem for local network integration. BLE 5.x for short-range sensor and tag communication — used in AgTag2 livestock monitoring.
Modbus TCP/IP
Native Modbus TCP/IP support for industrial sensor and instrument integration. Bridges legacy Modbus RTU devices to cloud via the ARG MQTT platform.
G3-PLC
G3 Power Line Communication for deployments where wired Ethernet is impractical. Proven in ARG’s energy and HVAC product lines.
PoE + 5″ Touchscreen + SSD
Single-cable PoE 802.3af/at installation. Capacitive 5″ LCD for local monitoring and configuration. Internal SSD for offline buffering and resilient data delivery.
